About University

Kingston University is an innovative and lively university, founded in 1899, London. It was approved as a technical college by the Board of Education. In 1992, the university was changed from Kingston University to Kingston Polytechnic. Kingston University’s teaching was honoured as exceptional by winning The Guardian University Award 2017 for teaching excellence. It ranked a top 10 london universities in the latest guardian league table , which was a change from the previous year of 23 places. There are four major campuses at Kingston university , including penrhyn lane , Kingston hill, Kingston park and Roehamptone vale. Academically , four faculties or colleges are divided into the Kingston school of art, the faculty of business and social sciences , the faculty of health , social care and education and the faculty of science , engineering and computing. Every faculty at the university offers separate streams of undergradate and postgraduate courses. In addition , all these divisions conduct research in relevant fields of study. There are world class facilities for each faculty. It had 16499 students , 3158 of them non – UK students. In the fields of entertainment , film , art , architecture , design , journalism and many more , the university has notable alumni.
