About University
Pace University is a private institution founded by brothers Charles Ashford Pace and Homer St. Clair Pace in New York City in 1906 with a one-room accounting school. It owns four campuses in New York City, Westchester, Pleasant Ville campus, Elisabeth Haub School of law. New York City Campus is the main campus of the University while secondary is Westchester Campus. At both sites, undergraduates have on-campus living options, but many students chose to commute.
Each campus, including fraternities and sororities, also has its own variety of student organizations. University was started with only 13 students and Pace brothers were teachers. More than 13,000 students enroll in bachelors, mastersand doctoral programs in over150 majors and programs. The College of Health Professions, Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, Elisabeth Haub School of Law, Lubin School of Business, School of Education, and Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems offer a number of business courses in six schools and colleges, health care, computer science, education, science, law, the arts, humanities, and more.
It aims at providing its students with excellent career resources and work opportunities. The undergraduate acceptance ratio for 2019 was 75.9 percent.Pace University has one of the largest internship programs of any college in the metropolitan area of New York. Speed learners took part in more than 8,000 internships, co-ops, field trips, and clinics last year with over 1,000 different employers. Over the years, more than 3,000 graduateshave reached top executive positions at their companies.
